Apple is targeting September for its new devices. The latest information suggests that the company will introduce iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods. In this context, the date when the devices to be introduced in September will be available for sale has also emerged.
iPhone 16 series may go on sale on September 20
According to Bloomberg editor Mark Gurman, Apple has accelerated its work on the iPhone 16 series as well as the new Apple Watch 10 and AirPods 4 models. Accordingly, the event is expected to take place on Tuesday, September 10. This date coincides with Apple’s standard schedule of announcing new iPhones in the second week of September.
Gurman reported that if the September 10 date is correct, the new products will be released worldwide on Friday, September 20. Apple is expected to send out media invitations for the event within the next week.
The most notable products of the launch will be the four new iPhone 16 models. iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are rumored to have the thinnest bezels ever on a smartphone and faster charging capabilities. A new “Desert Titanium” color is also expected to join the Pro lineup.
The high-end models will also feature a new 5x optical zoom periscope lens. In another first, Apple will begin production of the iPhone 16 Pro in India.
On the smartwatch side, the Apple Watch Series 10 is rumored to come with a larger display. However, some new health tracking features will allegedly not be available until next year. Two new AirPods 4 models may also make their debut at the launch.
